Dec 28 Nehemiah 9:1-37 Revelation 19:11-21 Psalm 148:7-14

Rev 19:15

From his mouth comes a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations, and he will rule them with a rod of iron. He will tread the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God the Almighty.

Iron doesn’t break. Iron is strong. When Jesus returns, He will rule absolutely. All the kings of the earth will bow. His word will be unwavering and unchanging. This reference goes back to the Messianic Psalm 2, verse 9 “You shall break them with a rod of iron and dash them in pieces like a potter’s vessel.”

There will be no denying who is in charge. There will be no question about who is Lord. No contenders, no rivals.

Jesus – King of King and Lord of Lords.

Have no doubt. The enemy may seem to run wild on the earth today but he does not stand a chance.

As we read in the following verses, the beast will be brought down and cast into the lake of fire. The time leading up to it will be hard… but Jesus will be victorious.
