We want young people to love coming to Church, and it is our prayer that they meet Jesus along the way, and that their faith, knowledge and understanding is increased. Our vision is that young lives are influenced and changed by the power of the gospel and the love of Jesus.

All of our volunteers hold a DBS.

Our Strategy is:

·        Reach

·        Retain

·        Disciple

·        Release

Children’s Church – From 4 to 12 inclusive our JAM (Jesus and Me) meets every Sunday at 11am.  If you bring your children to Church for the usual time of 10.30am one of the team will take them across the road to the family Centre. (That’s where you’ll pick them up from once the service is finished) At our Jam sessions we will follow a church curriculum, but we also learn how to apply our learning into everyday life which helps us to all grow not only in the knowledge of Jesus, but also helps young people to live an extraordinary life, in a difficult world. We aim to support these teachings through meaningful activities and events delivered in a range of ways that suits our young people.

New Generation Youth – Mid Week Youth from 11 to 16 will be introduced in 2023, this will be a mid-week evening event whereby young people can meet and share meaningful activities and conversations.

Bible Journaling – Once a Month Pastor Chris Parker, will be coaching and mentoring our older Children’s church group, our young people will explore the Bible in a creative study based on the curriculum we have been learning.

New Generation Drama – Our New Generation Drama groups will begin 2023., this group is for 11 -16-year-olds that have an interest in performing arts and want to practice those skills.  This group will have opportunities to perform regularly on a Good News Sunday at the Church.  These sessions will focus on Relevant life subjects that our young people face as well as Biblical sketches.

We hold specific outreach events throughout the calendar year, this helps us to reach out to those who maybe without those events would not have the opportunity to hear the gospel or hear about Jesus.  So, we encourage our young people in the church to invite their friends to events that we are holding, so that young people can experience Church life.

Our young people’s voice is very important to us as a church family and throughout the year we hold “Live Lounge” meetings whereby we gather feedback from our young people around key areas of prayer and need.  We also shape future events around these.
