1 Tim 6:11-12
But as for you, O man of God, flee these things. Pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, steadfastness, gentleness. Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called and about which you made the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.
Men of God, you are not called to sit back! There is nothing weak about the Christian life, you are a solider if faith and you are called to fight the good fight! Not against flesh and blood but against the works and powers of the evil one. Fight! Take hold of the eternal life you’ve been called into. Live as men of eternity, pursuing righteousness and goodness! The church needs men who are willing to fight for what is good, who are ready to set themselves apart and live right. It won’t be easy, it will be a fight, but the most worthy one you could ever be part of.
