The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit;
a broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise.
God is not after your money. He’s not after your offerings. What good are any of the things we can give to God if our hearts are hard?
What good would it be if we give everything we own yet our hearts are not humbled before God?
The sacrifices of God come from brokenness. When our hearts are right before God, when our hearts are humbled before God it’s the greatest offering we can bring – beaqcuse we see our true place… and His.
