Jun 20 – 1 Kings 7:23-51, 1 Kings 8:1-21 Acts 13:42-52, Acts 14:1-7 Psalm 76:1-12

1 Kings 8:10-11

And when the priests came out of the Holy Place, a cloud filled the house of the LORD, so that the priests could not stand to minister because of the cloud, for the glory of the LORD filled the house of the LORD.

What an amazing scene we witness here. When the glory of the Lord filled the house the priests couldn’t even stand up to minister to God.

When the presence of God is in the place, there is no denying His power and His amazing majesty.

When the Lord fills the Holy place, something magnificent happens. Did you know that, today He does not fill that temple? Of course you know that, the temple isn’t there.

But He still comes and fills the Holy place – for we are temples, each of us. And when the Holy place is filled, the wonders, the glory, the majesty of God can be seen.

there are some times when we come together as a church where we hope and pray for a meeting like this one, that His glory would come down – and we forget His glory already has – and He resides in each of us.

We don’t need to ask for more of His presence – we already have that. What we need is a greater awareness and sensitivity to HIs presence.
