The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God but considers them foolishness, and cannot understand them because they are discerned only through the Spirit.
Without the Spirit of God opening us up, it’s impossible to know and accept the things of God. It’s an act of grace to us that nay of us believe.
The flesh cannot discerns he Spirit – which means the flesh is always going to misunderstand the Spirit.
The world is always going to misunderstand the church, because the world has not got eyes that are opened to the things of God. The only way to know the thoughts and ways of God is through The Spirit – which in the natural is impossible. But we have the mind of Christ – the Spirit of God has opened us up to His ways.
Don’t’ get angry with people when they can’t see how great His ways are. They are looking in the natural, they are looking in the flesh. They can’t see. Instead, pray that The Spirit will open their eyes.
